Admission

2026-27

Techno India Group Public School, Konnagar is one of the best CBSE schools in Hooghly District, therefore it comes with a simple registration and admission process. The prospectus cum registration forms are usually issued in September onwards on payment of the registration fee from the office. The school is an inclusive one where children with special needs are also eligible for admission. Admission is granted according to the management rules and criteria suggested by the Board and Government norms.

Admission Process by Class:

Balvatika 1 to Class II (Foundational stage)

Announcements for admissions are made through the school’s official website and social media platforms. Parents are required to attend the counseling session along with their child on the date mentioned in the Receipt-cum-Admit Card. It is important to ensure all documents are in place before the counseling session for a smooth process.

Classes III to V(Preparatory stage)

Admission for these classes is based on a written test in English and Mathematics. The school encourages students to prepare well and approach the tests with confidence.

Classes VI to VIII (Middle School )

A written test will be conducted in English, Science, and Mathematics. The school ensures that the syllabus is aligned with the CBSE guidelines to maintain a smooth transition and comprehensive evaluation of the students’ academic progress. 

For Class IX admission

Admission to Class IX is based on a written test that includes English, Mathematics, and Science.

Class XI

Admission to Class XI will depend on the candidate’s performance in the admission tests and their board examination results. Admissions are subject to seat availability and in accordance with CBSE registration guidelines. Parents are advised to stay updated through official announcements regarding the admission process. The school strives to provide a nurturing environment for both academic excellence and personal growth. Rules & Regulations

Students must carry the school diary to school on every working day parents are requested to check the school diary regularly for important notifications from the school and teachers. The school diary must be preserved properly at all times because it is an important mode of communication between parents and the school. In case of loss of school diary a new one will be provided to the students against a fine of rupees 200 which has to be paid at the school office.School UniformStudents must follow the dress code of the school strictly on all working days, special or remedial classes days and on occasions they represent the school in external competitions and functions. Techno India Group Public School, Konnagar...When I joined this institution it was just a small school with a handful of students and teachers. It was a primary school till STD IV. The building was small, there was no such infrastructure. But there was care, there was passion for working as a team, there was love and dedication towards the students as well as for the school, there was a determination of making our school and our beloved students prosper. But it was not an easy task. There were so many constraints and vicissitudes. But we did not give up. With the constant support and guidance of our honorable Principal madam we were successful in overcoming all the obstacles. She showed us the right path and we all walked keeping hand in hand. I must also mention the trust and support of our dear parents which gave us motivation throughout our journey. Today our school, from a tiny seed has become a fully grown tree flourished with lush green branches and vibrant flowers and fruits. When I look back I realise that admitting him to TIGPS Konnagar had been one of the best decisions I took for my son. A school which is always referred to by him as his second home. The school has been a beacon of support, always there beside us, nurturing my son, helping him develop a keen interest in academics as well as co-curricular and extra curricular activities, instilling in him a strong foundation and thereby playing a pivotal role in shaping his personality. The familial warmth and support of the respected Principal madam, teachers as well as non teaching staff of the school cannot be quantified.

  • Crucial Traffic Awareness Programme

    In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing road safety, Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS) Konnagar today collaborated with the Chandannagar Police Commissionerate to conduct a comprehensive Traffic Awareness Programme. The vital session saw active participation from students, parents, and school pool car drivers, underscoring a collective commitment to safer roads.
    The programme, held within the school premises, addressed critical aspects of traffic rules and responsible road behaviour. Experts from the Chandannagar Police Commissionerate provided invaluable insights into pedestrian safety, the importance of obeying traffic signals, wearing seatbelts and helmets, and avoiding distractions while on the road.

  • Bhartiya Bhasha Summer Camp

    The vibrant colours of Bengal's heritage came alive at Techno India Group Public School, Nabagram during the much-awaited Bhartiya Bhasha Summer Camp 2025. This unique initiative aimed to help students explore the richness of Bengal's language, art, music, and dance, especially focusing on its diverse dialects.
    Students from Grades 3 to 10 were selected to participate in a series of creative workshops. The activities were designed to introduce them to Bengal's traditional culture in fun, engaging, and hands-on ways.
    The art segment of the camp was a major attraction. Students created beautiful artworks inspired by traditional Bengali styles.
    They made Purulia Chhau masks-both 2D Asura masks and 3D Ganesha masks— showcasing their skills in folk mask-making.
    Another exciting activity involved drawing Sylheti Alpana designs on betel leaves (paan pata), peepal leaves (ashwattha pata), and paper, which reflected intricate patterns from the Sylhet region.
